Job summary

Academics is seeking dedicated History teachers from September 2026 to inspire students and bring history to life. These long-term roles in the Rhondda Cynon Taf area aim to provide stability and a supportive working environment for NQTs or experienced teachers.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess progress, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver a high-quality history curriculum, with PAYE pay and potential permanent contracts.

Qualifications

• Excellent classroom management and ability to engage students in learning

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging history lessons that bring the past to life for students of various abilities
• Create a supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to think critically and engage with historical concepts
• Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to support their academic development

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
