We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher to join a thriving Humanities department. You will inspire students to explore the past, think critically, and understand how history shapes our world today. This position begins in April 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach motivated learners across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable), contribute to a dynamic curriculum, and help foster curiosity, empathy, and a love of learning.

Duties as a History Teacher:

1. Deliver high-quality, engaging History lessons that develop knowledge and critical thinking.
2. Support students in achieving academic success and historical literacy.
3. Contribute to curriculum planning, assessments, and enrichment opportunities.
4. Promote a classroom culture of respect, enquiry, and academic excellence.
5. Participate in trips, events, or themed days that enhance historical learning.

Ideal History Teacher:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History.
3. Experience teaching History at secondary level (including GCSE).
4. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
5. A commitment to inclusive teaching and continuous professional development.
