Exciting Opportunity for a Teacher of History – Starting September 2025

Are you passionate about History and committed to helping students explore the past to understand the present? Protocol Education is working with a forward-thinking secondary school to find a dedicated Teacher of History to join their Humanities department in September 2025. This role is open to ECTs and experienced teachers alike, with a preference for candidates who can also teach Geography.

This inclusive 11–16 school is driven by a strong sense of community, ambition, and personal growth. The Humanities department is at the heart of the school’s curriculum, inspiring students to think critically, understand diverse perspectives, and engage with the world around them. About The Role:

As a Teacher of History, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Foster a deep understanding of historical events, cultural change, and geographical concepts.
  • Encourage critical thinking, debate, and analytical skills in the classroom.
  • Support students’ academic and personal development in a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Take an active role in the school’s enrichment programmes and Humanities-focused projects.
