Job summary

Academics is seeking a dedicated History Teacher to cover a maternity absence at a Dover secondary school starting December 2026. The role covers KS3 and KS4, with engaging lessons and clear progression for students.

You will plan, deliver and assess work in line with the curriculum, maintain high standards of behaviour, and contribute to a positive learning environment in a supportive Humanities department.

Qualifications

Academics are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join a secondary school in Dover from December 2026, covering a period of maternity leave.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified History Teacher to join a supportive school environment and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop their historical knowledge, analytical skills and enthusiasm for the subject.

The Role
