Job summary

Wayman Education is recruiting for a passionate History Teacher to join a highly successful secondary school in Nottingham.

You will teach History across KS3 and KS4, plan engaging lessons and support students to develop their historical knowledge, analytical skills and understanding of key events and periods. The start date is January 2027 and the contract is full-time, permanent, with a salary band of MPS/UPS.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent.
• Strong History degree or relevant qualification.
• Experience teaching History at secondary level.
• Able to teach KS3 and KS4.
• Strong classroom management.
• Enthusiastic and committed to student progress.
