Job summary

Pulse Healthcare Limited is seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Histology to join our client’s team in Lancashire. This is a full-time, ongoing position offering core hours and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

You will process and embed tissue samples, perform microtomy, and stain slides for microscopic examination. You will support pathologists in diagnostic reporting, in a NHS-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration required.
• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
• Experience in Histology within a clinical laboratory.
• Experience with microtomy and staining techniques.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• NHS experience is preferred.
