Job summary

GAP Group Apprenticeships offers a blended learning programme where you will gain NVQ Level 2 in Hire Desk Operations and learn to run an effective hire desk, including stock control and purchasing, driving sales and handling customer queries while coordinating drivers.

You will earn as you learn: under 18 starts at £16,224 per annum and over 18 at £17,860 per annum. After Year 1 you progress to the National Minimum Wage rate for your age group.

Qualifications

• 4 National 4's OR GCSE's Grades C or above
• A keen interest in customer service and sales
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and IT skills

Responsibilities

• Run an effective hire desk with stock control and purchasing.
• Drive sales and manage customer queries while coordinating drivers.
• Study customer service, sales skills, back office administration and credit control.
