Job summary

Travis Perkins Hire in Weybridge seeks a proactive Hire Manager to lead branch sales and customer service. You’ll develop a sales action plan to exceed budgets and support the integration of Hire within the Travis Perkins network.

You’ll coach the team, ensure equipment safety and availability, and deliver exceptional service to a loyal customer base. This role offers a dynamic environment with strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience in tool hire or leadership roles preferred.
Sales or customer service experience considered.
Safety-focused and proactive.

Responsibilities

Crushing Sales Goals: Develop a winning sales action plan and drive results beyond the targets.
Coaching & Training: Work with the Branch Manager to level up the team on everything tool hire.
Keeping Things Running: Ensure tools and equipment are in top condition and safe.
Stock Control: Balance stock levels to meet demand and keep gear available.
Leading the Team: Oversee the day-to-day of the Hire team, training and motivating.
Top Service: Be the go-to for customer queries and upsell to boost sales.
Communication: Keep the team and branch updated with daily toolbox talks.
