We are looking for a Hire Driver/Fitter (Class 2) to join us at Hirebase Sunderland!

We rely on our Hire Driver/Fitters to complete safe delivery, collection, and distribution of hire equipment to our customers. Working in one of our depots, you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting in the effort to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done.

Here’s what you can expect to do as a Hire Driver/Fitter (Class 2) with Hirebase:

1. Carry out appropriate equipment and vehicle checks on a routine basis
2. Ensure hire fleet is maintained and repaired to the company and legal standards
3. Ensure all hire fleet maintenance records are kept up to date
4. Keep Hirebase workshop safe, clean, and tidy to company standards
5. Have responsibility for the hire fleet within your branch
6. Safeguard against theft of company goods
7. Complete distribution of hire equipment using company vehicles
8. Follow and maintain company transport policies
9. Serve customers efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company policies and procedures
10. Complete stock takes as required
11. Complete other branch duties as requested by members of the branch management team
