We are looking for a Hire Driver/ Fitter to join us at Hirebase Newbury!

We rely on our Hire Driver/ Fitter to complete safe delivery, collection, and distribution of hire equipment to our customers. Working in one of our depots, you’ll be part of a team where everyone puts in effort to offer excellent customer service and complete tasks efficiently.

Here’s what you can expect to do as a Hire Driver/ Fitter with Hirebase:

• Carry out routine equipment and vehicle checks
• Maintain and repair the hire fleet to company and legal standards
• Keep hire fleet maintenance records up to date
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy workshop environment
• Take responsibility for the hire fleet within your branch
• Safeguard against theft of company goods
• Distribute hire equipment using company vehicles
• Follow and uphold company transport policies
• Serve customers efficiently, safely, and according to company policies and procedures
• Complete stock takes as required
• Perform other branch duties as requested by management
