Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc. is seeking a proactive Hire Controller in Glasgow for a 9-month fixed term contract. The role is desk-based within the depot, coordinating the complete hire process from order placement to delivery and collection to ensure the right equipment is available on time.

You will work closely with stock teams, drivers and engineers, providing excellent customer service and updating customers throughout the hire cycle. Prior hire industry or sales/service experience is desirable.

Hire Controller – 9 Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Glasgow

Contract: 9 Month Fixed Term Contract

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00 | 20 hours per week | Part Time

We have an exciting opportunity for a Hire Controller to join our Glasgow team on a 9-month fixed term contract.

Based within the depot, the Hire Controller plays a vital role at the heart of our operation, providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the hire process runs smoothly from start to finish.

Relationship building is key to success in this role. You will coordinate the entire hire process, from taking customer orders through to arranging delivery and collection, working closely with colleagues across the depot to make sure our customers receive the right equipment, at the right time.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be predominantly desk-based, working closely with our stock teams, drivers and engineers to minimise delays, resolve queries and ensure we consistently deliver a great customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing
