Job summary

Speedy Group in Doncaster is hiring a Hire Controller to manage the end-to-end hire process from order to delivery and collection. You will liaise with the depot and multiple teams to ensure customer needs are met and service remains outstanding.

The role is desk-based, requires strong organisational and communication skills, and a driving license. Prior experience in hire or a similar sales/operational role is preferred, with opportunities for training and career progression.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the entire hire process from order taking to delivery and collection, liaising with the depot to meet customer needs.
• Work desk-based and collaborate with other departments, stock teams, drivers and engineers to minimise delays.
• Ensure successful customer service and satisfaction across the hire lifecycle.

Job Title - Hire Controller

Location - Doncaster

Salary £29,572 per annum, pro rata

Based in the depot, the Hire Controller is a vital part of operations on the front line of sales and customer service. Relationship building is the key to success, as the Hire Controller coordinates the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection, liaising with every part of the depot to ensure the needs of the customer are met and that they’re satisfied with our service.

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be desk-based, working directly with the other departments, liaising regularly with stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure minimal delay in fulfilling the needs of the customer with readily available equipment and close contact.
