Speedy Hire Plc in Glasgow is seeking a Hire Controller for a 9-month fixed-term contract. Based at the depot, you will coordinate the full hire cycle from order to delivery and return, maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring timely equipment availability.
You will work desk-based with stock teams, drivers and engineers to minimise delays, resolve queries and deliver a great customer experience. The role requires organisation, clear communication, and a customer-focused approach.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 17:00 | 42 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Hire Controller to join our Glasgow team on a 9-month fixed term contract.
Based within the depot, the Hire Controller plays a vital role at the heart of our operation, providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the hire process runs smoothly from start to finish.
Relationship building is key to success in this role. You will coordinate the entire hire process, from taking customer orders through to arranging delivery and collection, working closely with colleagues across the depot to make sure our customers receive the right equipment, at the right time.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be predominantly desk-based, working closely with our stock teams, drivers and engineers to minimise delays, resolve queries and ensure we consistently deliver a great customer experience.
