Job summary

The Hire Place UK, part of the Places for People Group, is seeking a Hire Controller to join our team. This on‑site role covers the full hire process, including customer contact, quotations, paperwork, driver routing, invoicing queries, and supplier orders.

Based on site five days a week, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, you will work to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues. Benefits include an annual bonus, excellent holiday and sick pay, a matched pension and training

Job description

We are The Hire Place UK, part of the Places for People Group; we are looking for a Hire Controller to join our team. This role is a varied and interesting role which requires involvement in the complete hire process and is an opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of the functions within the hire business. The primary function of this role will be dealing with customers, and arranging hire and sales of goods and equipment, completing the appropriate paperwork, planning driver routes, dealing with invoice queries, placing orders with suppliers and related tasks, along with many other duties that may be required from time to time. Experience in the hire industry is an advantage but not essential.
