Job summary

Westmorland and Furness Council in Cumbria is recruiting several Team Leaders to supervise highway maintenance teams, organise workloads, and embed a culture of performance, safety and quality in our highways operations.

You will coordinate materials and plant, lead teams to meet targets, and be prepared for Out of Hours duties during adverse weather. A full UK Driving Licence and experience with plant and equipment are essential, with excellent communication and a strong focus on safety.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK driving licence.
• Experience with plant and equipment relevant to the role.
• Customer-focused service and professional conduct are essential.
• Willingness to travel throughout Cumbria and participate in adverse weather maintenance.
