Job summary

Pinnacle Recruitment is urgently recruiting on behalf of a major civil engineering contractor for a Freelance Highways Supervisor with an immediate start on a 3-month contract overseeing highways schemes and infrastructure works.

As the on-site Supervisor you will drive delivery, manage site teams and subcontractors, and ensure all works are safely completed to program while complying with NRSWA and RAMS requirements. This role is on-site in the United Kingdom and requires immediate availability.

Responsibilities

• Site supervision of day-to-day operations on live highways schemes, coordinating direct labour and subcontractors.
• Oversee street works activities to ensure excavations, reinstatements, and traffic management comply with NRSWA regulations.
• Enforce site safety, deliver toolbox talks, manage daily site diaries, and ensure RAMS adherence.
• Monitor short-term programme delivery to keep works on schedule.
