Job summary

Enerveo Ireland Ltd. is seeking a Highways Operative in Newquay (PL25 4DS) to join a leading highways electrical contractor. The role is full-time, 37 hours, Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, with standby duties that attract additional payments once trained.

The base salary starts at £26,711 plus a range of benefits to support your family and wellbeing. You will work across outdoor and indoor sites, maintaining cameras, parking machines and other technology.

Qualifications

• Be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Enjoy practical, hands-on work and take pride in keeping equipment clean and well maintained.
• Confident working with technology and equipment, with the ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned cleaning and maintenance on technology and infrastructure assets, safely and on time.
• Clean and maintain equipment such as security/ANPR cameras, CCTV, parking machines.
• Remove stickers, graffiti, posters, dirt from assets to keep them clean and accessible.
• Support fault repairs and installation of electrical equipment including CCTV.
• Carry out basic checks and report any damage or faults.
• Work outdoors and at indoor/customer sites as required, in varying weather.
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintenance schedules.
• Work independently while travelling between locations, and with colleagues when required.
