Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for a highways scheme in Warrington. You will supervise day-to-day site operations, manage gangs and subcontractors, and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme milestones.

The role requires hands-on bridge/joint installation experience, SMSTS/SSSTS, EUSR 1 & 2, CSCS Gold, and First Aid qualification. You will coordinate internal teams and suppliers to hit project milestones on a 12-month site.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering highways/civil works on site.
• Proven ability to supervise gangs and subcontractors to programme milestones.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and construction information.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site operations and ensure works align with programme.
• Manage gangs, subcontractors, and site resources effectively.
• Drive progress on site and resolve delivery issues.
• Ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion.
• Read drawings and conduct toolbox talks; RAMS compliance.
• Issue permits and oversee safe digging practices.
• Monitor productivity and support Site Manager to milestones.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and supply chain.
