Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Site Agent for major highways and civil works across South & Mid Wales. You will lead on-site delivery, coordinating site teams, subcontractors and resources to meet programme and budget while maintaining high safety standards.

The role requires proven highways/streetsworks experience, ability to interpret drawings and track progress through RAMS, ITPs and permits. Excellent communication with clients and engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong highways experience and ability to read technical drawings.
• Proven drainage and surfacing delivery experience.
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
• Solid QA, RAMS, ITPs and site records knowledge.
• Strong health and safety awareness and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Managing site teams, subcontractors and site activities.
• Planning and coordinating daily and short-term works.
• Overseeing highways, drainage, surfacing and civil engineering activities.
• Producing and maintaining site documentation, RAMS, ITPs and permits.
• Ensuring works are delivered to programme, specification and budget.
• Liaising with clients, engineers, subcontractors and the wider project team.
