Job summary

Highfield Professional Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Site Agent to support a major highways programme in Oxfordshire. This long‑term civils project offers stability, with potential extension and exposure to roads, structures, drainage and utilities.

You will lead Site Engineers and Section Engineers, drive construction delivery, manage subcontractors, review planning and programme data, and ensure compliance with HSE, quality and NEC specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Agent on a major civils site.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and construction standards.
• Proven leadership of site teams and coordination with subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead Site Engineers and Section Engineers to deliver works safely and on programme.
• Plan, sequence and review work packages and management plans.
• Monitor compliance with HSE, quality and contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with planning teams to obtain accurate programme data and reports.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure performance against schedule and budget.
