Job summary

Bethell Construction Limited is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead highways and civil engineering projects across Greater Manchester. You will manage from inception to completion, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery while coordinating clients, designers, subcontractors and operational teams.

The role requires a strong background in highways or civil engineering, CSCS/SMSTS, and a full UK driving licence, with a proactive, leadership-focused approach to project success.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering highways and civil engineering projects.
• HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• CSCS Card and SMSTS required.

Responsibilities

• Lead highways/civil projects from pre-construction to handover.
• Ensure safety, quality, programme and budget targets are met.
• Develop and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee site teams, resources, subcontractors and documentation.
• Monitor costs, variations and contract obligations.
