Civic Recruitment Limited in Huntingdon is seeking an interim operations role to oversee highway maintenance on a 6-month contract, four days per week, with a daily rate of £250 under an umbrella arrangement.

The role focuses on managing maintenance programs across footways, carriageways, cycle routes, drainage assets, and public rights of way, ensuring the network remains safe and functional for local communities.

Formación

• Experience in highways maintenance, civil engineering, construction, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently to achieve objectives and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in problem-solving and implementing practical solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Perform regular inspections of the highway network to identify defects and maintenance needs.
• Accurately document findings using appropriate systems and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to statutory highway maintenance requirements.
• Investigate reported highway issues and develop maintenance recommendations.
• Conduct site visits, measurements, surveys, and fact-finding activities.
• Assist with detailed investigations, such as drainage surveys, trial holes, and road core assessments.
