Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Highways Engineer to join on an ongoing contract in London. The role focuses on delivering a large programme of resurfacing and patching works with weekday schedules during term time.

Responsibilities span from inception to completion, including inspections, feasibility studies, project management, design, site supervision and contract management. 6-month contract, £30-£35 per hour, full time.

Are you an experienced Highways Engineer for your next challenge?

Our client is seeking an experienced Highways Engineer to join them on an ongoing Contract.

Key Responsibilities

• The aim for this role is the delivery of a large programme of resurfacing and patching works. The work will be largely during school term on weekdays, but there will also be activities planned for family events during the school holidays.


• You will be responsible for delivering a range of highway projects from inception to completion through the application of specialist skills.


• This will include inspections and surveys, feasibility and options studies, project management and financial control, design, site supervision and contract management.
