E.ON is seeking a permanent Routine Maintenance Highways Electrician to cover the North West, based in Rochdale. You will perform routine and non-routine street lighting maintenance, testing, and fault finding across the Oldham and Rochdale contract, with opportunities for regional project work.

The role requires Level 2/3 Highway Electrical qualifications, driving licence, and IPAF, with training to contact DNO/iDNO networks. A strong safety focus and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 2/Level 3 Highway Electrical experience or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 in Highway Electrical Work or similar qualification.
• 714 Initial & Periodic Electrical Inspection & Testing.
• 210 Working near DNO/iDNO equipment.
• First Aid at work and Manual Handling.
• G39 and BS7671 Level 3 Electrical Installations.

Responsabilités

• Routine electrical street lighting maintenance and installation.
• Non-routine street lighting maintenance including fault finding and repairs.
• Electrical testing of private cable networks.
• Electrical installations on new and existing apparatus.
• Driving and operating company vehicles as required.
• Carry out risk assessments and follow company policies.
• Work solo or as part of a team; supervise where needed.
• Attend emergencies as required.
• Use handheld devices to record information.
• Maintain safe standards during delivery of work.
• Meet productivity expectations and team objectives.
• Manage installation, repair and maintenance of highway electrical assets across regions.
• Be flexible to work at multiple sites across a wide area.
