• Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne
• Salary: £29,000 to £32,000 per year (+ Vehicle + Overtime)

The Opportunity:

I am currently looking for a Highways Electrician to work in a field-based capacity in and around the Newcastle-upon-Tyne area.

This role involves conducting inspections, testing, and maintenance on various electrical street furniture within your designated area.

Ideally, candidates will have experience with roadside technology such as street lighting, RTIP, traffic signals, ANPR, etc., but I am open to speaking with anyone with an electrical background willing to work on roadside technologies.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience with the installation and maintenance of street furniture (highly beneficial)
• Electrical/electronic experience and qualifications (C&G 2365, 2391, BS7671, etc.)
• Willingness to work in a field-based capacity or on roadside assets
