Job Description

Base Location: Newcastle/North Tyneside
Salary: Up to £29,819 depending on skills and experience, plus Time Incentive Management (TIM) Bonus Scheme and other benefits supporting your family, finances, and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent, Full Time, Monday - Friday, 37 hours between 6:00am and 5:00pm, with core hours from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and 7:00am to 12:00pm on Friday.
Enerveo manages over 1 million streetlights across the UK and Ireland, playing a major role in reducing energy consumption and carbon footprints through design, project management, consultancy, installation, and maintenance. We aim to help towns and cities become smarter, greener, and more efficient. Could you be our next Highways Electrician to join the team and drive this success forward?
This role involves maintaining streetlighting infrastructure, including streetlights, signs, and subways; carrying out electrical connections to new street lighting; fault diagnosis and repairs; cyclic maintenance such as lamp changes, visual inspections, and electrical testing; operating mobile elevated working platforms; and attending emergency standby rota to respond to out-of-hours call outs, Monday to Sunday. All work must be performed following strict safety guidelines and regulations.
