Look no further! We have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrician in the Highways and Street Lighting team.
What will you be doing?In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, service, testing, repair, fault diagnosis, installation of street lighting, street furniture and associated equipment, which involves working outdoors and at height.
To support our Highways service, there may be times when working overtime or weekends is necessary to meet operational demands. Being available for on-call duties and working outside of standard hours is a valued and essential aspect of the role. To support you with this, we provide full training and offer overtime and on-call payments, ensuring your dedication is both recognised and rewarded.
What skills and experience do you need?This is a perfect opportunity for a qualified and experienced Electrician looking for a new challenge and to broaden their expertise into a street lighting role.
Whilst you will ideally possess G39 – working in the vicinity of Distribution Network Operator (DNO) equipment and New Road and Street Work Act (NRSWA) Signing, Lighting & Guarding, we are willing to support you through these qualifications, provided you are a qualified Electrician.
You will also hold a full UK Driving Licence to enable you to undertake the travel aspects of the role.
