Job summary

Via East Midlands is seeking an Electrical Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of highway electrical activities across Nottinghamshire. You will manage Supervisors and operational staff, delivering street lighting maintenance, illuminated signs, bollards, and electrical installations with a focus on safety, quality and timely delivery.

The role requires proven leadership in highway electrical services, ICP works knowledge, and a strong track record in budget and programme management.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational delivery teams in highway electrical, street lighting or infrastructure maintenance.
• Extensive track record in street lighting maintenance, improvements and fault response.
• Knowledge of ICP works, electrical connections and DNO interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead Supervisors and teams across multiple workstreams.
• Plan and coordinate programme delivery to meet targets.
• Monitor productivity, quality, safety and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with electrical and highway standards/regulations.
• Coach and develop staff through training and performance management.
• Build relationships with clients, stakeholders and suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement in performance and service delivery.
• Manage resources, budgets and workloads for efficiency.
