SOCOTEC UK is seeking a proactive Survey Data Processor and Analyst to join the Highway Surveys team. This role involves handling and processing survey data collected from field operations, including 4K video and GPR data, with a focus on data quality and accuracy.

You will work in a collaborative environment, with full training provided on systems and equipment, and you’ll contribute to delivering secure, high-quality data outputs for clients and internal use.

Qualificações

• Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage large volumes of digital data accurately.
• Confidence using computers and learning new software and systems, with a methodical approach to problem solving and data management.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage workloads effectively and meet project deadlines.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop knowledge of specialist survey technologies.
• An interest in technology, data, surveying or highways.

Responsabilidades

• Manage, transfer and securely back up survey data from field teams, organise storage media and perform data quality checks.
• Process and review 4K survey video footage, including basic editing and client-ready outputs.
• Process Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) data, perform initial quality checks and prepare datasets for analysis and reporting.
• Support data analysis activities, including data validation, manipulation, quality control and basic outputs from survey data.
• Assist the Highway Surveys team with data-related queries and ensure work adheres to SOCOTEC’s data security, quality and retention procedures.
