Job summary

Matchtech are seeking a CAD Technician for a leading engineering consultancy in the highways sector, based in St Albans. You will join a multi-disciplinary team delivering a variety of projects and producing accurate drawings and models using AutoCAD and related CAD tools.

Ideal candidates will hold a Minimum HNC or equivalent, have highways sector experience, and be motivated to develop professionally within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC or equivalent in a relevant technical subject.
• Experience in highways or related sectors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or other CAD software such as Microstation, Revit, and Civil 3D.
• Ability to produce detailed engineering drawings and models.
• Good communication skills to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teams to deliver a variety of exciting and interesting projects.
• Producing accurate and appropriate engineering drawings and models efficiently.
• Collaborating with colleagues to find innovative solutions for clients.
• Utilising proficiency in AutoCAD and potentially other CAD software to support project outcomes.
• Maintaining good communication with team members and other stakeholders.
