Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Highway Design CAD Technician for our Birmingham Office. You will assist with highway schemes through feasibility, design and construction, preparing designs and drawings and liaising with utility providers to secure approvals.

The role requires good problem-solving, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage your own workload in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with highway design and construction stages.
• Ability to liaise with utility providers and obtain approvals.
• Strong self-motivation and workload management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs and drawings for highway schemes across feasibility, design and construction stages.
• Coordinate with utility providers and other service providers as needed.
• Help obtain technical approvals from Local Highway Authority and manage deadlines.
