Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking an enthusiastic Asset Officer to help shape the future of our highway network and deliver improvements that matter to residents daily. You’ll inspect roads, support maintenance programmes and work with contractors to keep communities moving.

Qualifications

• A Levels, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• HND (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Highways, Construction or a related discipline.

Responsabilités

• Inspect highways and identify maintenance needs.
• Investigate highway issues and undertake site visits across the county.
• Use asset management principles and condition data to prioritise investment.
• Work with contractors to scope, order and manage maintenance works.
• Plan and coordinate works programmes to minimise disruption.
• Support preventative maintenance programmes that deliver long-term value.
• Work with local communities, parish councils and stakeholders to understand local priorities.
• Keep residents and stakeholders informed about planned works and improvements.
