Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee major maintenance and minor improvements across the Yorkshire North East region. You will audit works, liaise with contractors and ensure safety and quality on site.

The role requires travel to sites, occasional evenings and weekends, and you must drive with minimal points. A CSCS/SSSTS/SMSTS certificate is essential, with a competitive salary and paid overtime.

Qualifications

• Proven highway/structures and maintenance/construction experience.
• Good understanding of DMRB, MCHW, Chapter 8 and CDM Regulations.
• CSCS Card Holder, SSSTS or SMSTS Certificate is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assure completion of planned works to agreed standards and elevate concerns to the CAM.
• Ensure works comply with CDM regulations, HSE, environmental and Chapter 8 requirements.
• Provide regular feedback to Project Managers on progress, risks and design issues.
