Job summary

The successful candidate will support the delivery of highway maintenance, construction and repair works, contributing to the safe and efficient upkeep of roads, footways, drainage systems and associated infrastructure. Working both independently and as part of a team, they will undertake a range of manual and technical tasks, including the use of hand and powered tools, plant and specialist equipment, while ensuring all work is completed to required specifications, timescales and health and safety standards.

The role requires a proactive and flexible approach, the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service. The successful candidate will also work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and members of the public, helping to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and with minimal disruption.
