About the role

We're looking for a proactive and community-focused Highway Maintenance Officer to help keep Cambridgeshire's highway network safe, resilient, and well-maintained. In this frontline role, you will oversee reactive, and / or cyclical maintenance across footways, cycle routes, carriageways and public rights of way - ensuring the network meets the needs and expectations of our communities.

You’ll collaborate closely with residents, contractors, parish and town councils, and internal teams to deliver high-quality maintenance works, respond to incidents, and contribute to Cambridgeshire County Council's commitment to excellent customer service and a safe, efficient highway network.
