This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven physiotherapist to join the cancer services team at NUH as a Band 7 highly specialist physiotherapist. For this permanent role we are looking for a physiotherapist with specialised clinical experience within oncology and haematology, or relevant transferable skills from other specialities and a passion for cancer care.
The successful candidate will have significant experience as a qualified physiotherapist within oncology and/or haematology, as well as a variety of other core areas such as respiratory, health care of the older person, neurology and orthopaedics.
As a highly specialist physiotherapist you will have demonstrable leadership skills and service development experience, excellent communication and time management skills with an ability to build networks to develop our existing physiotherapy service.
NUH is a large acute teaching hospital with many specialist centres. This post will allow you to work across areas with a great variety of patients and alongside many experienced clinicians. You will be expected to work collaboratively across the MDT. We are looking for an excellent team player who is experienced, creative, flexible, and proactive to assist us in delivering high quality patient care.

Physiotherapy and OT services are part of the Therapies, Outpatients and Phlebotomy Directorate, within Specialist Clinical Services at NUH. We are a diverse team of AHPs and support staff, employing over 800 staff, who works together to deliver the high quality care we aspire to. Our HCPC registered AHP professionals comprise of physiotherapists, dietitians, occupational therapists, orthotists, prosthetists and speech and language therapists. We have a Chief AHP to lead us on our strategic direction, and many of the pathway leadership team have pathway AHP backgrounds to support our staff. There are also Practice Development Therapists to support career development for all.
