Contract: 12 months (Although this position is a 12 months fixed-term contract, the actual contract duration will be adjusted to account for the time taken to advertise the post, complete the hiring process, and finalise pre-employment checks. This means the contract will begin when the candidate starts the role and may be slightly shorter than 12 months.)

As a key member of the multidisciplinary team (MDT), you will be responsible for providing expert pharmaceutical advice on complex clinical cases, supporting the expansion of our high-dependency unit, & contributing to the overall strategic development of the pharmacy service.

The post holder will carry out the full range of duties as the Highly Specialist Pharmacist in Critical Care to deliver patient focused, quality care, based primarily at the Royal London Hospital.
To promote the responsible, safe and cost-effective prescribing of medicines within Critical Care to optimise clinical outcomes, minimise adverse reactions and improve medicines safety. The post holder will be supporting the Lead Clinical Pharmacist, Critical Care in leading a team of staff in the delivery of a high quality clinical, professional pharmacy service to the speciality.
