The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
(Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part-time hours.)
We are seeking an enthusiastic Orthoptist to join the Orthoptic Clyde team as a Band 7 Highly Specialist Orthoptist on a permanent basis.
This is a part-time role, working 29.7 hours per week at the RAH in Paisley. The role covers the Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, VOL, and Argyll & Bute areas. The post may require travel to these areas for clinics and occasional overnight stays.
The post holder will provide highly specialist Orthoptic assessments and treatments autonomously, managing their own caseload, and serving as a resource for Orthoptic staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Experience working with stroke patients, motility patients, general paediatric patients, and students is required.
The post holder will assist the Head Orthoptist with management, professional leadership, and governance of the Orthoptic service, including operational management and clinical delivery in both acute and community settings.
