Job summary

The post offers two part-time roles: one in the North of the county (minimum 7.5 hrs) and one in the South (minimum 15 hrs), totaling 29.5 hours. Flexibility around hours can be discussed with team leads prior to application. Are you a psychologist seeking a role within a community team delivering care centered around psychological interventions? The Worcestershire Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIS) seeks an enthusiastic Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to support individuals experiencing or at risk of a first episode of psychosis.

Main duties of the job
  • Lead development and delivery of Psychological Therapies within the service, providing supervision and guidance to psychological therapists.
  • Promote psychological thinking within the team through consultancy and offering training.
  • Conduct or support research, audits, and service development activities.
  • Provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations, interventions, and outcome evaluations for clients with complex mental health needs.
