GSL Education is seeking a dynamic and proactive Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in primary schools in Sheffield .
Job Summary:
Are you a passionate and experienced educator looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our primary schools in Sheffield starting in September 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in the classroom and support the academic and personal development of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning and delivery.
- Lead small group interventions and support sessions.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Support the teacher with assessment and record-keeping.
- Foster positive social interactions and model appropriate behaviour.
- Work with teachers to develop and implement individualised learning plans for students who require additional support.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience or qualifications as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) .
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A passion for working with children and supporting their development.
