It is a very exciting time to be joining Hollyfast Primary School. We are a three-form entry primary school based in Coundon, Coventry, with a positive reputation within the local community. As one of the largest schools in Coventry, we are committed to growth and transformation. We are looking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support our development.

What is the job role?

We seek a dedicated and experienced HLTA to join our supportive team. Your role will involve planning, delivering, and assessing learning activities, leading whole-class teaching when needed, supporting small group interventions, monitoring pupil progress, and contributing to school life.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality learning experiences aligned with the curriculum
• Lead lessons in the absence of a teacher
• Support individual pupils and groups
• Assist in lesson planning and assessment
• Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies

Who are we looking for?

Ideal candidates will hold HLTA status or equivalent, have significant primary school experience, demonstrate excellent communication skills, be confident across the primary age range, committed to inclusion and achievement, and work well in a team.
