Vision for Education is seeking experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work across Swansea's primary schools. This role offers flexible start dates and the chance to take a leading role in classrooms, supporting teaching and learning across year groups.

Ideal candidates will have HLTA qualifications and strong leadership skills, with experience across primary key stages. The position involves collaboration with teachers, planning assistance, and promoting an inclusive, positive learning

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Level 6 qualification or relevant degree in Childhood Studies, Education, or a related field.
• Strong classroom management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead whole-class learning in the absence of the class teacher.
• Deliver targeted intervention programmes across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Support lesson planning, preparation, and assessment activities.
• Provide guidance and support to Teaching Assistants and support staff.
• Create an engaging, inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils with varying learning needs to reach their potential.

We are recruiting for experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Swansea

This is an excellent opportunity for confident and motivated individuals who can take a leading role in the classroom, support teaching and learning across different year groups, and make a positive impact on pupils' educational development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead whole-class learning in the absence of the class teacher
• Deliver targeted intervention programmes across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Support teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and assessment activities
• Provide guidance and support to Teaching Assistants and other support staff
• Assist in creating an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning environment

Requirements

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
