Job summary

Sapientia Education Trust is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for Swaffham Meadow Primary School in Norfolk. The role supports teachers with planned learning, planning, preparing and delivering activities and monitoring progress.

This is a permanent, full-time post (term time plus 1 week). Salary £29,542 to £32,046 FTE per annum, with pro rata figures available for part year appointments.

Salary: £29,542 - £32,046 FTE per annum (£22,319 - £24,643 pro rata per annum)

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time, Term Time plus 1 Week (39 weeks)

THE ROLE

We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic person with high standards and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with others as part of our school as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).

The HLTA will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This will involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities and monitoring / assessing individuals / groups / whole classes.
