Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd in Scunthorpe is seeking a part-time High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support learning across EYFS to KS2, including 1:1 and small-group support, starting September 2026.

The HLTA should have a Level 3 TA qualification, experience with Read Write Inc phonics, and be flexible and reliable to work across the school; the role includes safeguarding checks and ongoing professional development through the agency.

we are looking to appoint a part-time inspirational and experienced High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) who is friendly and adaptable with good knowledge of learning across EYFS KS1 and KS2, with a willingness to be flexible and support across the school, for a local primary school in Scunthorpe. The High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will ideally have experience delivering the Read, Write, Inc phonics scheme. This role is varied and will involve supporting children in the classroom, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis starting sept 2026 for at least the academic year part time to 2027.

Requirements:
  • Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification to a Level 3 or above EYP/QTS is acceptable
  • Have experience delivering the Read, Write, Inc Phonics scheme
  • Have flexibility, reliability and adaptability
  • Have recent experience supporting children aged 5-11
  • Have a good understanding of how children learn and develop
  • Experience working in a similar role
