Job description

Do you have experience delivering lessons in the Teacher's absence?We are seeking a part-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming Primary Academies based in Leeds (LS15) with immediate start.You will be responsible for supervising whole classes in the Teachers absence, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring children remain engaged and focused on learning. You will ideally have experience in a similar role and have a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.The Primary School is proud to offer the very best educational experience for all pupils, centred around it's ethos of 'everyone successful, everyday'. You will join a supportive staff team, promoting positive behaviour, continuity in learning and a special place for children to learn and grow!You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role, salary is negotiable dependent on experience.We are seeking candidates with:
  • A full and relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
