Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Billericay. You will deliver planned learning activities, support pupils aged 4-11, and work closely with teachers to create an inclusive, high-quality learning environment.

The school is looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant on a permanent, term-time-only contract for an immediate start, working Monday to Friday for 32.5 hours per week. The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences, support pupils' individual needs and contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture.

The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have:

• Relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent
• Experience supporting learning, ideally with children aged 4-11
• Confidence delivering planned learning activities and adapting resources creatively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, flexible and collaborative approach
• A commitment to inclusive practice and supporting every pupil to achieve their potential
