Exciting Opportunity: Higher Learning Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Wanted!

Are you passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential? Do you have the enthusiasm to provide targeted support in a dynamic classroom environment? We are seeking a dedicated and motivated HLTA to join a secondary school in Colchester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and delivering lessons to support individual and small group learning.
• Provide high-quality, differentiated support for students with varying needs.
• Support students' academic progress and provide feedback on their work.
• Promote a positive learning environment encouraging student participation.
• Collaborate with the class teacher to monitor progress and provide additional support.
• Contribute to students' social, emotional, and academic development.
• Inspire students to reach their full potential.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with students in an educational setting (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of the curriculum and the role of a teaching assistant.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Passion for supporting student achievement.
• GCSEs or equivalent Grade C (Pass) or above.
