Willowdown Primary School in Bridgwater invites applications for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support learning across the school and lead activities when required. You will work with teachers to raise achievement, promote inclusion, and help pupils develop confidence and a love of learning.

The role is a fixed-term contract, 32.5 hours per week, starting 01 December 2026 and ending 31 August 2027.

Formación

• HLTA qualification or equivalent is required.
• Strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills to assess, monitor and support pupil progress.

Willowdown Primary School is seeking a dedicated and values-driven Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team.This role provides the opportunity to work alongside teachers to raise pupils' achievement, promote independence and inclusion, and lead learning activities that help every child thrive both academically and personally.As a key member of our team, you will support learning across the school, lead lessons when required, and play an important role in helping pupils develop confidence, resilience and a love of learning.
