We are now seeking to appoint a Higher Learning Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to deliver our Nurture+ curriculum and deliver the CONNECT Programme to students who are repeatedly accessing the Inclusion matrix. Nurture+ is crucial to the success of some of our students with an EHCP’. You will provide learning support for a range of students with an EHCP aged 11-16 years through the assessment of student needs, use of high-level subject knowledge and specialist skills to deliver and support learning.

What we require:

• 5 GCSE’s or more, including English and Maths
• Experience of successfully working with young people (of a relevant age)
• Experience of working with young people with EHCP
• Basic experience of planning, either for lessons or extra-curricular activities, and in assessing student progress

In 2021, the academy was successful in its application as part of the school rebuilding programme. In July 2024, building work commenced with a 25-million-pound partial new build, due for completion in October 2025. The state-of-the-art facilities will include new dining, sport and classroom facilities.
