Internal Audit (Academic Quality)

Location: UK (London)

Type: Full Time, Work From Office, 5 days a week

Position Overview:

We are seeking an expert in UK Academic Quality to join the Internal Audit Department and assist in global internal audits. The role reports directly to the Head of Group – Internal Audit. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in UK Academic Quality. This is a full-time position involving work from office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand UK Academic Quality standards thoroughly.
• Evaluate & assess whether GBS UK meets all Academic Quality standards.
• Participate in internal audits of GBS UK Academics.
• Review the quality and processes of the academics department.
• Identify gaps and issues, discuss findings with the UK Academics department.
• Provide suggestions for improvement and discuss recommendations.
• Assist in drafting audit reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations.
• Report directly to the Head of Group – Internal Audit in India (Noida).
• Conduct global audits of the Academic department in other locations and entities of GEDU Group (in 12+ countries).
• Ensure high academic standards are maintained at par with UK standards.
• Highlight gaps & suggest process improvements as needed.
• Assist in other internal audit areas of UK entities as required.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain excellent communication skills for interaction across 12+ countries.
• Occasional travel to other countries, especially India, if required.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices in education and higher education sectors.

Qualifications:

• Substantial experience in UK Academic Quality.
• Relevant degree and experience considered.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills for international interaction.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, especially to India.
• Stay informed about regulatory and industry standards.
